Site Manager – West Midlands – Permanent - £60k + overtime + bonus + car allowance + annual salary reviews + enhanced pension contribution

Samuel Frank is recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join a West Midlands based engineering company with ongoing works, predominantly in the automotive industry.

Key aspects of the Site Manager role include;

• Previous experience of working as a Site Manager is essential
• Site Managers with experience of working in the automotive sector will be considered favourably, but it’s not essential experience to have
• Excellent supervisory and management skills – essential
• Provide safe and effective installation management of 3rd party installation contractors
• Achieve high quality installations that meet the design specification whilst providing all the relevant documentation
• Manage the agreed contract against a schedule of works
• Able to prioritise and plan work loads
• Ensure Risks Assessments are carried out and Method Statements are supplied
• Good Health & Safety knowledge/ is required
• Ideally have some knowledge of ovens, spray booths and/or automotive assembly lines
• Comfortable working shutdown periods
• Mechanically biased with some electrical understanding
• First class communication skills
• Support the Project Manager in ensuring cost control and forecasting of cost to complete installations

Most of the work will be based in the West Midlands, ideal places to live include Coventry, Birmingham, Warwick, Leamington Spa, Redditch, Nuneaton, Rugby, Wolverhampton, Walsall, Tamworth, Halesowen or Solihull.

There may be occasions when the successful Site Manager may need to work in the North West or very occasionally in mainland Europe.
