Job Summary:
As the Registered Manager, your primary responsibility is to manage The Home/s and ensure the provision of top-quality care and support to Children and Young People. This entails adhering to company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards while fostering an environment conducive to growth and development for all under your care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of a registered children's home, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
- Develop and execute individualized care plans for children, tailored to their specific needs.
- Provide leadership and direction to caregivers and support staff, promoting a culture of compassion and excellence.
- Prioritize the safety and well-being of all children within the facility, maintaining a secure and nurturing environment.
- Administer medications and perform necessary medical procedures as required, ensuring the health of residents.
- Maintain accurate documentation of children's care and progress, ensuring compliance with record-keeping protocols.
- Collaborate with families, guardians, and healthcare professionals to optimize the care provided to children.
- Cultivate a stimulating and supportive atmosphere conducive to the educational and emotional growth of children.
Requirements
Essential:
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience (within the last 5 years) in a role relevant to the residential care of children.
- Successful completion of the "fit persons" interview with the Registration Authority (Ofsted).
- Previous leadership experience in childcare or similar settings.
- Minimum of one year in a supervisory role managing staff within a care setting.
- Proficiency in developing and managing care plans for children with diverse needs.
- Excellent communication skills, enabling effective interaction with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Relevant qualifications, experience, and skills to effectively manage The Home and lead the care of children. Physical and mental fitness to carry out managerial responsibilities.
- Possession of a valid driving license.
Desirable:
- Children Services (England) Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare.

Salary Range: £42,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
