Belmont Recruitment is currently seeking experienced Prison Recovery Coordinator’s to join a reputable private charity in Durham on a rolling contract basis, with the potential for long-term engagement.

As a Prison Recovery Worker, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the rehabilitation and recovery of individuals within the prison system. You will work closely with incarcerated individuals to develop and implement personalised recovery plans, addressing their unique needs and challenges.

Duties | Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with other professionals to develop individualised recovery plans.
  • Conduct oneon-one counselling sessions with service users to address substance misuse and mental health issues.
  • Run assessments of individuals' needs, strengths, and challenges.
  • Facilitating group therapy sessions

Details about the role:

  • Hourly rate: £18£21 (Dependent on experience)
  • Working hours: 37.5 hrs per week / Monday to Friday
  • Contract duration: Minimum of 3 months, with potential for extension.
