My client, a elderly Nursing Home well respected within the community, is looking for a Maintenance Worker to work Full Time, Permanent in their fantastic home in Solihull. 

The ideal candidate will be a caring person, with experience in property maintenance setting, ideally in a Care Home but not essential.
You will be practical, with a good attitude towards people and enjoy building relationships with contractors, residents and colleagues.
Above all, you’re a team player who takes pride in your work and is committed to maintaining a safe, comfortable environment for our residents. 

The safety of our care home residents and staff is really important, so your role will be to make sure the premises and grounds are maintained to a high standard.
You’ll perform regular checks, carry out repairs and, when needed, contact engineers or service agents.
You’ll be confident doing fire, basic electrical and appliance checks.
Faults must be reported and actioned promptly.
We’ll also expect you to keep the grounds looking tidy and carry out general redecoration work.
As our Maintenance Person, you’ll be a valuable member of our friendly, close-knit team, promoting the well-being of our residents and the successful running of our care home.

£14 per hour
35 hours a week
Full Time, Permanent. 

8-4 or 9-5
Monday to Friday.
