An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Care Assistant to join a large residential dementia care home based in Preston.
The home are recruiting for senior care assistants to join their experienced and qualified care team on permanent contracts.

Requirements of the Senior Care Assistant Role:
- A kind and caring person
- Previous experience in administering medication
- NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care
- Previous experience as a senior care assistant in a dementia home
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing, eating and toileting
- Manage a team of care assistants
- Assist in the safe lifting, transferring, repositioning and movement of clients
- Assist with medication and help with care plans and risk assessments
