Are you a Senior Theatre Practitioner with a specialisation in Anaesthetics? We have an exciting opportunity with a leading provider of private healthcare in the UK.

This full-time, permanent role comes with a salary of up to £42,000 per year. You'll be joining a dedicated team in the Theatre department, working 37.5 hours a week.

As a Senior Anaesthetic Practitioner, your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering safe, quality care for patients during their peri-operative phase of care.
  • Supporting and coordinating the management and organisation of care within the operating department.
  • Providing quality planned care for patients and ensuring all team members deliver the same.
  • Leading in the delivery of patient care during a list or specified period of time.
  • Ensuring that patient safety checks are carried out in accordance with policy.
  • Contributing to quality improvement and promoting best evidence-based practice.
  • Developing and enhancing your own skills and knowledge as well as those of others.
  • Applying legislation, policies and procedures correctly.

The ideal candidate for the Senior Anaesthetic Practitioner role should:

  • Be a registered practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration.
  • Have a post-registration qualification in Anaesthetics
  • Have completed an ENB 998 and/or mentorship course.
  • Have completed an approved/recognised anaesthetic course.
  • Have previous experience working within an acute healthcare environment.
  • Have previous experience managing and leading a clinical team.
