Job Description: We are seeking multiple talented and enthusiastic Healthcare assistants to join our team to become a SEN Teaching assistant. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in the classroom and providing personal care to students.

We are recruiting for a dedicated special college providing exceptional education and care to pupils with profound learning difficulties. The college require someone with transferable skills from a healthcare assistant background as their students generally require care and support similar to a healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care for students
• Work under the class teacher to provide support for pupils in the classroom.
• Work closely with children with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties and/or challenging behaviours
• Liaise with an experienced team, who will support you within the college

Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience as a Healthcare assistant
• Experience in personal care.
• Experience in working with challenging behaviour
• Epilepsy training
• Preferably PEG feeding trained (not required)
