Samuel Frank is recruiting for a home-based Key Account Manager to join a UK based special purpose machine manufacturer.

Key aspects of the Key Account Manager role include –

• You’ll have a proven track record in Key Account Management, ideally in capital equipment. Automated machinery experience is not essential.
• The company is a specialist engineering business, an engineering background might help but isn’t an essential requirement
• Strong negotiation and deal closing ability is critical
• The role requires the successful Key Account Manager to be polished, credible, confident, self-motivated, autonomous and have first class communication skills
• The role is home based – the successful hire could live in mainland Europe or anywhere in the UK/Ireland.
• You’ll need a proved track record of business development including highly developed networking skills
• The commission scheme is uncapped and is extremely lucrative for top performers
• The average sales cycle is 12 months, this role isn’t going to suit someone who moves jobs regularly/consistently after relatively short periods
• The successful Key Account Manager will need to demonstrate evidence of strategic commercial acumen as well as targeting, approaching and pursuing new and existing customers
