Consultant Ecologist

Location: Chipping Norton, Oxford, Oxfordshire

Salary: £24,000 - £35,000

Ecologist Position Overview

• Undertaking protected species surveys
• Assisting in the preparation of tenders and fee quotations
• Producing technical reports (PEA reports, BNG reports, protected species reports, etc.)
• Managing small to medium-sized projects, and occasionally larger projects with support if needed

Ecologist Position Requirements

• 2-3 years of industry experience
• Degree in Ecology, Environmental Management, or a related field
• A protected species licence (preferred)
• Full UK driving licence
• Extensive knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and its correct application
• Membership of the Chartered Institute of Ecology & Environmental Management is preferred

Ecologist Position Remuneration

• Competitive salary ranging from £24,000 to £35,000 depending on experience
• 23 days holiday, plus bank holidays, with the option to purchase additional days
