Belmont Recruitment are looking for a qualified social worker in registration with Social Work England for an NHS based position, within a medium secure unit located in the Bristol area, as part of the Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust.
The service is looking for qualified social workers for a contract position working as Band 6 Forensic Social Worker. Any experience working within secure facilities is advantageous but not required.
Purpose of the service;
- Provide a social work service to service users.
- Maximise the quality of life for service users and challenge any discriminatory practices effectively.
Duties will involve;
- Writing reports.
- Liaising with families and significant others.
- Discharge planning assistance.
- Supervision of service users.
- Safeguarding.
This position is a full-time position – working 30-37.5 hours per week.
The applicant must be qualified with Social Work England.
